The Valve Gallery is suitable for versatile use and its exhibitions are diverse. The exhibitions are organized by artists, educational institutions, associations and hobbyists. Public entry to the Valve Gallery is free of charge and the Gallery is open within Valve’s opening hours. Current exhibitions are found on the calendar on our front page.

Exhibition applications and selections
The 2026 exhibitions are part of the official Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture programme. The application period for 2026 ended in August 2025.
The Valve Gallery is rented for one-month periods based on applications for 22,40 € per day. The same application includes the Restaurant Paljetti’s exhibition space (free of charge) and Oskari Jauhiainen Gallery’s exhibition space in Kiiminki (free of charge). The application period of the next calendar year opens annually in August–September).
