Sanna-Mari Prittinen ja Marja Haapakangas: Corazón - Ydinpuu

Corazón - Ydinpuu -näyttelyn teokset ovat syntyneet vuoden 2022 ja 2023 aikana eri puolilla Eurooppaa. Orgaanisesti ja sekatekniikalla työstettyjä maalauksia, kolmiulotteisia teoksia sekä videotaidetta sisältävän näyttelykokonaisuuden teemana ovat metsä, puut ja niiden elinvoima, sekä kadonnut että säilynyt. Corazón - Ydinpuu -näyttelymme lähestyy luonnon haurautta, sekä metsän uutta luovaa elinvoimaa, tuomalla Espanjan ja Suomen hakkuumailta ja palaneista metsistä inspiroituneet teokset rinnakkain. Metsällä ja puilla on teoksisamme merkitys erityisesti ekosysteemille itselleen. Taiteessamme metsä saa myös myyttisen, henkisen ulottuvuuden. Osa teoksista on toteutunut Keski-Pohjanmaan Kulttuurirahaston tuella.

The artworks in the Corazón - Ydinpuu exhibition have been created during 2022 and 2023 on two sides of Europe. The theme of the exhibition, which includes organic-, mixed media paintings, three-dimensional works and video art, is forest, trees and their vitality, both lost and preserved. Our Corazón - Ydinpuu exhibition approaches the fragility of nature, as well as the new creative vitality of forest, by bringing together works inspired by forests of Finland and Spain, felled lands and forests with wild fires. In our art forest and trees have meaning especially for the ecosystem itself. In our art, forest also takes on a mythical, spiritual dimension. some of the works were realized with the support of the Central Ostrobothnia Cultural Fund.
