Art-Being Family Club is back!

We’ve prepared the exciting updates for you!

Despite continuing our most popular artistic sessions for families with children, we will arrange 2 Pop-Up Exhibitions on the stage of Cafe-restaurant Paljetti at Valve complimented by the series of creative workshops for adults!

Our sessions are a dynamic blend of play, improvisation, socialisation, visual art and music practice, designed to elevate the well-being and integration of families with kids and adults.

Pioneering as the first international creative well-being project in Oulu, the Art-Being Family Club has been crafted specifically to engage international and local communities, promoting integration and meaningful connections.

The sessions are held by Arina Lykova (Entrecom Enterprise Community) and Eva Gintare Obaji (Creative Learning Studio). Produced in coordination with Valve’s Urban Neighbourhood Culture.

Locations: Kaijonharju Library, Kaijon Kammari (Kalevalantie 5) and Cultural Centre Valve, Sanataidevintti (Hallituskatu 7).

Sessions for families with kids:

Sessions for families are designed to develop creative skills, and increase engagement and wellbeing of the diverse Oulu community!

Place: Kaijonharju Library (Kalevalantie 5).
Dates: 05.08., 19.08., 02.09., 16.09., 30.09., 14.10., 28.10., 11.11., 25.11., 9.12.
Time: 17:00–18:45.

Sessions for adults:

This time, we will arrange 2 Pop-Up Exhibitions designed for adults who want to stand out and share their artwork with the Oulu community. Our sessions are divided into 2 Cohorts, each featuring 4 engaging workshops followed by a Pop-Up Exhibition on the stage of Cafe-restaurant Paljetti at Valve.

1st Cohort: Visual Arts (Eco-art, Clay, Photography)
• Workshop Dates: 12.08., 26.08., 09.09., 23.09.
• Pop-Up Exhibition: 7th of October.

2nd Cohort: Visual Arts (Drawing, Design, Crafts)
• Workshop Dates: 21.10., 04.11., 18.11., 2.12.
• Pop-Up Exhibition: 16th of December.

Place: Valve, Sanataidevintti (Hallituskatu 7).
Time: 17:00-18:45.
